Srividya sadhana
Srividya Sadhana is the auspicious knowledge of invoking the primordial energy of the mother Goddess-centered Shakta Agama of Lalita Tripurasundari.To attain Her is called srividya sadhana.Knowledge about her passed on from a Guru to his disciple by the way of initiation/Deeksha. Srividya sadhana practiced in three ways i.e., called vama marga(left hand path) or Kaulachara, Mishra marga(both left and right hand used), Dakshina Marga (right hand path) or Samayachara or Adaita srividya sadhana.
It is said that one can get initiation into Srividya only if one is in his/her last birth and by practicing Srividya he/she become Shiva himself. Srividya Sadhana gives both material prosperity and self-realization.

Srividya having different aspects of worship the form and formless aspects of worship. The formless aspects of worship is the kundalini is worshiped. Simple sonic aspects of worship is her mantra recitation sonic representation. There are Traya Khari, Panchadasi and Sodasa Khari matras.
Second aspect of worship is Lalita Sahashra-namas, 1000 names of Goddess. Lalita Trishati is another aspects 300 names of Lalita.
Third aspects of worship is Sri Yantra, the energy representation of Devi. All the companion energies of Devi, different Sidhis, Yoginis, and Yakhinies are worshiped to derive the energy.
How you are going to invoke the Devi, depends on which lineage you are initiated. Depending on your Goal, your Guru will tell you whether you will go for Sristi Krama – the way of manifestation, Sthiti Krama- the way of sustainace and Samhara Krama- the way of destruction. For householders Sristi Krama to fulfil their requirements invoking Devi by the way of expansion. For a Sanyasi the way of anihilation the Samhara Krama practice is advisable .
There are seventy seven (77=64+8+5) tantras which promulgate Srividhya. Out of these seventy seven 64- are based on vama marga and Kaulachara. These tantras will give materialistics benefits but not give moksha (self-realization). Out of 77 tantras-8 tantras are chandrakala vidhya; which is practiced in both vama and Dakshinachara padhati; called Mishra marga. Rest of the 5-tantras are known as subhagama panchakas. They are as per vaidika marga, called samayachara.
Tantra means–Method of Invoking: The main components, instruments of tantra sastras are Idol of diety, mantras and yantra. Tantra Sastra itself is a combination of various scientific factors, like astronomy, astrology, anatomy, Ayurveda, gemotry etc. are certain basic principles of tantras sastras.
One need to have better knowledge of tantric rituals. The one important factor of tantric rituals is worshipping a form of Goddess as opposed to the teaching of upnisads. Practicing rituals strictly accordance with the procedure laid down by tantra Sastras will give a faster effect than following the procedures laid down by veda sastras.
There is a lots of misconceptions about tantra sastras. Avoiding a few tantric rituals, certain herbs & amulets; the result are immediate. All the tantra sastras are said by Shiva to his consort Parvati. Shiva himself told that in Kali yoga tantra sastra works better than other sastras. In the present time nobody is able to follow the procedures laid down by vedic rituals which is very elaborate. Purity of mindand body is the basic need in Vedic rituals as opposed to tantric rituals. Again Vedic mantras are different fromtantric mantras. The Vedic mantras may not have the some potency as that of tantric mantras in today’s scenario. Tantasastras are kept very closely guarded secret mainly of two reasons. If the procedures followed properly the result are immediate. It could be possible that some practitioners might use this for destructive purpose or who knows the procedure do not want to give others who is having full of ego.
In srividya sadhana basic principles is based on the unification of Idol of deity with srichakra, the mantra and the practitioners. Sri chakra is the abode of Sri Lalita Tripurasundari. It is made of up four triangles of Shiva Chakra-s facing up and five chakras as Shakti Chakras facing down. The total triangles formed out of the intersection of nine triangles are fourty four including the bindu. Srichakra is the energy representationsof the whole cosmos. A comparison can be drawn between Srichakra and the Kundalini (six chakras + Sahasrara + Kula Sahasrara + Akula Saharara). Sri chakra is also compared to human body, nine planets 27- Nakshatras, 51- Matrikas, 51- Shakti peethas, panchadasi Mantra. Thefive Shakti angles also represents five elements ether , air, fire, water & earth and its modification like five Karmedriyas ( anus ,sex organs ,feet ,hands ,vocal chords),five jnanedriyas (nose ,tonge ,eyes ,skin ,ears ) five Tanmantras(smell ,taste ,sight ,touch ,hearing ) where the four siva angles represents antakarans i.e., mind, intellect, individual consciousness and ego.
Worshipping Sri Chakra is called Navavarana puja Nava means nine and avarana means companion energy of goddesses. The bindu sthana is her own place; surrounded by number of avarana devatas. First Avarana- 28 goddesses, in secod avarana 16- goddesses, in third avarana 08- goddesses, in fourth avarana 14-goddesses,in fifth avarana10- goddesses, in sixth avarana 10- goddesses, in seventh avarana 8-goddesses and in eight avarana 15- goddesses and four of her weaponaries. Lilitambika is worshiped at the Bindu.
In Samayachara Srividhya: There is no outer ritual, only contemplation on Sri Chakra and deities ,companion energies established in satchakra . Samayachara Srividya is based on Bhabanopanisad. Bhavana means formation of a concept/imagination in the mind. Like other Upanishad, it helps us to contemplate our body with Sri Chakra. Srividhya is called Brahma-vidhya, the knowledge of supreme, the role of Guru is extremely important, who can show the parashakti. When the darkness of illusion is destroyed with the grace of guru, one can realize the self. It is the formless aspect of worship of goddesses in the form of Kundalini. In this, practitioner learn how to concentrate on different parts of Sri Chakra and to travel to the center. Srichakra is the Manitestation of Divine power, the center Bindu where Shiva & Shakti are united. In this path through manta and yoga practice the Kundalini fire is awakened from the primal state and raised to the highest of Chakras Bindu Sthana. Srividhya is the path of eternal return to inner wholeness and perfection. It shows that the origin of life is perfect bliss, peace, happiness and wisdom and that its final destination.
